Description
When her nana's beloved cookbook vanishes and rotten pranks begin befalling Laura at her cottage, she can't help but suspect that sour grapes with Gabe are at the heart of the havoc. But all that seems like small potatoes when Laura discovers a dead body in the walk-in refrigerator at Bread on Arrival--and murder appears to be the main ingredient. All of a sudden, Laura is tossed out of the frying pan and into a homicide investigation, grilled by the police and compelled to prove her own innocence by tracking down the true killer. As an unseen villain turns up the heat, Laura quickly realizes that nothing is what it seems. Can she uncover a cold-blooded murderer before the mayhem boils over? If not, she could be the next lass in Loch Mallaig to get burned. - Publisher website
