Description
A workaholic attorney living in a tiny apartment and holding onto a relationship that's going nowhere, Sarah Anderson has always lived life by the book. But now she's about to do something completely out of character. An elderly client has died and left her a generous inheritance, with the stipulation that she must use his money for something wonderful, and to live well. In compliance with her client's wish, she buys a neglected but magnficent old San Francisco mansion and enlist the help of architect Jeff Parker who shares her desire to bring the house back to life. As they work to restore the mansion, Sarah makes a series of powerful discoveries: about the true meaning of a last gift....about her dead end relationship and the distinct possibilty of starting a new one....and about a future she's only beginning to imagine.
