The case takes a turn when France's death cult shows up, and Dolly is forced to work with the Necronists. They know who the murderer is and are hell-bent on bringing the suspect back to France. Dolly suspects they want to find the murderer for other reasons than justice.

More of London's well-to-do are turned into lifeless husks while Rose and Dolly put the pieces together. The race is on to find the murderer before the Necronsits can do the same. The bloody trail leads to a shocking family secret. This secret won't die and has come back to haunt all those who took part in the cover-up.
