[synopsis] => This is my personal diary filled with my frustrations associated with my experience in ministry from January 1980 until now June 2011 from a Jeremiah perspective. As you read this book you will find out how much truly chosen, not just called leaders have to endure to become all that God wants them to be. Through this book leaders will come to know the furnace of affliction and rejection is a place not appreciated by many who are chosen to fulfill the highest calling among men. The frustrations of the chosen are necessary experiences designed not to break us but drive us to a place of dissatisfaction. This aggravation causes us in turn to run to God with a passionate fire that trials, tribulations or death itself can't quench or put out. Through this book you will come to understand that our frustrations and aggravations are necessary annoyances that will bring out the best in us and not the worst if the process of God's choosing is honored. God's ways are not our ways and our thoughts are not Gods thoughts and that's something we tend to forget in the midst of challenging trials. Endure hardness, don't faint. Through this book you will see how the obsessions in life by those who have been called disqualify them from being chosen. The distractions we call accomplishments and great victories are personal hangmen nooses we create by allowing our accomplishments to take the place of personal ministry and Christ centered accountability. This book will be an easy read because its only eighty (80) pages and it cuts out the chase and takes you straight to the point. Read with an open heart and the Holy Ghost will illuminate your mind and enlarge your capacity to believe God. God's Speed!!!
