The Ohio River is one of America's great waterways. From 1755, the Ohio would lead a few intrepid explorers and surveyors into a land of vast abundance. But that land was already home to a vast array of Indians who vowed to defend their land against the seemingly unstoppable influx of settlers, beginning a full-scale war that would last for generations.
